You and I are Eternal

An oracle is sent into deep space with a small crew to locate a hidden unstoppable power the empire searches for. Except he has no intention of handing it over; his real goal, one he hides from his crew, is to release the cosmic eldritch being responsible for said power so he can bring silence back to the cosmos.

"You and I are Eternal" is a cosmic horror short story about a wish for an end to the constant noise in the universe. It was originally published alongside twelve other stories in ASTROPHOBIA: An Anthology of Space Horror, curated by Vesper Doom.
