When a phenomenon sweeps through the world, blossoming people into all sorts of plants with barely any warning, you continue on with your day. It doesn't really affect you, not personally, at least. No one you know has blossomed, at any rate. Until your best friend that you had a thing for blossoms right before your very eyes and you can't do a thing to stop it. What do you even do then?

summertime blossoms is a soft body horror short story about what someone does when they lose the only person they had a connection to. It's meditative, full of lost dreams of what could have been, and the lasting regrets of words unsaid.
